The Windsor Forest High School Drama Club proudly presents Lorraine Hansberry’s acclaimed play, A Raisin in the Sun, October 22–24, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the Windsor Forest High School Auditorium.
Set in 1950s Chicago, the play follows the Younger family as they pursue their dreams while confronting racism, financial hardship, family conflict, and difficult decisions about their future. Through this powerful student-led production, audiences will experience a timeless story about identity, dignity, sacrifice, and what home means.
The production gives Windsor Forest students an opportunity to showcase their talents in acting, technical theatre, set design, lighting, sound, costumes, and stage management. Their work demonstrates the importance of arts education and its ability to build confidence, encourage collaboration, and bring meaningful stories to life.
The Windsor Forest High School Drama Club invites local news stations and Savannah community members to attend, highlight the accomplishments of these talented young performers, and support theatre education in our schools.
