Trustus Theatre Presents "Cabaret"

Step into the smoky, provocative world of 1920s Berlin with Cabaret, the acclaimed 1998 version of the classic musical. Set as the decade draws to a close, the story unfolds inside a Berlin nightclub where a garish Master of Ceremonies welcomes audiences with bawdy songs and promises an escape from the troubles of everyday life.

Beneath the glitter and spectacle, Cabaret reveals a darker reality. Through the Emcee’s sharp, wry commentary, the musical explores the lives of Berlin’s natives and expatriates as political tensions grow and Germany slowly yields to the emerging Third Reich.

With its unforgettable music, provocative performances, and haunting historical backdrop, Cabaret offers a powerful theatrical experience that examines a society on the brink of profound change.
