Boo at the Zoo

Celebrate Halloween with a not-so-spooky twist at Boo at the Zoo at Riverbanks Zoo & Garden, one of the Midlands’ most popular fall traditions.

This family-friendly event transforms the zoo into a festive Halloween destination filled with safe, fun activities for children of all ages. Guests can enjoy trick-or-treating throughout the park, interactive games, themed entertainment, and plenty of opportunities to see favorite animals along the way. Costumes are encouraged, making it a memorable experience for families looking to celebrate the season together.

Throughout the evening, the zoo comes alive with seasonal décor, entertainment, and special surprises around every corner. The event is designed to be fun rather than frightening, offering a welcoming environment for younger guests while still capturing the excitement of Halloween.

Boo at the Zoo takes place on select nights and is a rain-or-shine event. Advance tickets are required, as this event often sells out.
