NOBUNTU at Seabrook Island Clubhouse

Nobuntu, the exhilarating female a cappella quartet from Zimbabwe, has drawn international acclaim for their inventive performances that infuse traditional and original Zimbabwean songs in the mbube style with Afro-Jazz and Gospel, and the occasional popular song. The ensemble’s concerts are performed with pure voices in a variety of native languages, dialects and styles, and augmented by percussion, traditional instruments such as the Mbira (thumb piano) and authentic dance movements. They sing with an uncanny vocal blend, precision, and joy which is palpable and yet always sounds fresh and spontaneous.

Their previous US tours have taken them across the country from The Kennedy Center to Stanford University and on to Hawaii, with rich touring experience in Africa and Europe as well. Nobuntu made their Australian debut in 2025. Performing throughout the world, Nobutu brings their message of love, respect, and humility wherever they go.
