Loft Sessions: Jamie Wright

Experience an intimate evening of jazz standards with vocalist Jamie Wright during ColaJazz Loft Sessions at Pastor’s Study in downtown Columbia. The performance features beloved songs associated with Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Frank Sinatra, Lalah Hathaway, and other celebrated voices of jazz and soul.

A South Carolina native who began singing in church in Seneca, Wright went on to study at the North Carolina School of the Arts and perform professionally in New York City with Opera Ebony. Her musical background spans jazz, soul, R&B, gospel, and classical music, bringing sophisticated musicianship and powerful vocals to the Loft stage.

ColaJazz Loft Sessions offers an intimate listening-room experience with seating just feet from the musicians. The October 12 program includes two sets of live jazz from 7–9 p.m., with a 15-minute intermission at 8 p.m. Tickets include three drink tickets and light bites.

Tickets are $29 for ColaJazz members, $35 for non-members, and $15 for students. Seating is limited.
