Fall Family Day

Experience fall at Middleton Place with a day of hands-on discovery for the whole family. Explore the traditions, skills, and stories of the Lowcountry harvest through live demonstrations, artisan crafts, and activities inspired by the natural materials people used to work, create, and live.

Learn about the knowledge and craftsmanship of the people who lived and worked at Middleton Place, including the enslaved Africans and African Americans whose labor and expertise sustained the plantation. Meet skilled makers, see traditional techniques in action, and discover the connections among the land, the harvest, and daily life.

Designed for families of all ages. Come ready to see, make, explore, and learn together during a lively fall day at Middleton Place.
