Looking for Halloween events and unique things to do in Columbia, SC, this October? Step into The Witching Hour: An All Hallow’s Eve Rock Show, a one-of-a-kind Halloween rock opera where classical music, gothic theatrics and modern rock collide at Harbison Theatre at Midlands Technical College in Irmo.
Presented by the Southern Gothic Opera Company, this high-energy live performance brings together Sarah Black and Braxton Ballew of Valentine Wolfe, Vincent Sheheen of Mayor & The Band, and drummer Isaiah Ives for a genre-bending musical experience inspired by the drama and spectacle of Halloween.
The Witching Hour reimagines familiar spooky classical themes through a cinematic rock lens, transforming orchestral darkness into something louder, heavier and more electrifying. Audiences can expect gothic elegance, Southern rock grit, dramatic soundscapes and full-throttle rock moments throughout the performance.
Designed for fans of Halloween entertainment, theatrical performances, rock music and genre-bending live shows, The Witching Hour offers a fresh take on spooky season entertainment in the Columbia and Lake Murray area.
