Looking for family-friendly things to do in Columbia, SC, this November? Experience LOCKED-IN: THE STORM, an original teen stage play presented by WOW Studio One and the Destined2WOW Foundation at Harbison Theatre at Midlands Technical College in Irmo.

When a powerful hurricane traps a group of teenagers inside their high school during a weekend leadership conference, the outside world suddenly disappears. With no phones, social media or way to escape, the teens are forced to rely on one another—and confront the truths they’ve been trying to hide.

As the storm rages outside, rivalries emerge, secrets are revealed and unexpected friendships are formed. Each teen must face the pressures, fears and expectations they’ve been carrying in silence. What begins as a fight to survive the storm becomes a deeper journey of self-discovery, connection and courage.

Funny, heartfelt, suspenseful and emotionally honest, LOCKED-IN: THE STORM is a coming-of-age drama about friendship, resilience and what it means to truly be seen. The teen stage production offers audiences a powerful and engaging theater experience while highlighting young performers and storytellers.

With three performances over one weekend, LOCKED-IN: THE STORM is a unique option for families, theater fans and anyone looking for live entertainment in the Columbia, Irmo and Lake Murray area.

Some storms change the weather. Others change your life.
